Wanted - Clutch arm for Blade 919
In an attempt to get a decent bite point and travel, I need to lengthen my clutch arm.
Does anyone have a clutch arm for a Honda Fireblade 919 please?
Many thanks
Michael

Not so sure that's a good idea as the associated brackets will need remaking, its all nice and strong as is, nothing bespoke so easier to fix in
the future.
Better to move the pivot point on the clutch pedal closer to the cable end or lower the cable on the pedal IMHO, fix the end that's wrong.

Thanks Mark- I could lower the cable with a bit of work but I'm not sure that'd give me enough travel still?
Thanks again

I made my pedals so cannot comment on your setup, however I get full travel with quite a wide bite area, made a long time ago but from distant memory
3/4" from centre of pivot to cable end.
Engine side is standard, pedal is so light you can push easily with your hand. Picture is when in an embryonic state

Thanks Mark. I have about an inch now from the cable (mounted at the top of the pedal) to the pivot below. Could move it down that inch but
didn't think it'd make enough of a difference?
Thought that the clutch arm end might be an easier job to modify but fully appreciate what you mean about bespoke parts!
Thanks again

I agree - that it would be better to move it at the pedal side for throw and leverage, but it's not the moving it on the pedal that is the
problem - the cable enters the bespoke pedal box (that is just ali sheet) on a bracket that is welded onto a bulkhead (of sorts) and the angle it sits
on and no room below it, is the reason why it would be a PITA to move it on the pedal...
I think if the clutch actuating arm was modified, the bracket could be twisted slightly and that would sort it in no time and quite simply?

i didn't, was like it when i got the car.
it is basically just a bit of metal bolted onto the arm to make it longer.
i keep meaning to have a closer look and see if i can do it a bit better as it looks a bit crap.
i can get a pic of it later in the week if thats any help
