It seems a bit weird to me but i can't think of any other reason for it...
I have a fuel leak on the banjo on my rear carburettor. I thought it had to be one of the two pipes being loose but have replaced clips, pipe is new
and still have signs of a leak. It appears to be coming from where the T of the banjo meets the big round bit that the banjo bolt goes through. Is
this possible? is it soldered, brazed or cast etc?
Was wondering if anyone has got a banjo they no longer have a use for. Needs to be 90 or perhaps straight but must have two ends!
Cheers
Rich

Hi Rich,
have you checked the 2 brass washers that fit either side of the banjo and where is threads into the Carb casting ?
that might be your problem !
cheers Andrew
Hi Andrew,
yeah, washers seem ok, if a little warn. thing is the petrol pools above the washered part. ie. between the bar of the 'T' and the vertical
part. I was looking at it earlier tonight and found evidence that it was soldered at some point of its longish life. Found a place near me that does
new for £8-9 + £2 for new washers so going to buy new over the weekend.
Cheers for your help!
