Just did another running test with my new improved (secondhand) Rover 25 pressurised heade tank... and found that the s/hand Polo radiator has a
slight leak.
From other threads I have found some suppliers, but before I buy new, does anyone have a spare one going begging?
Alternatively, where has the best price? I need the small one (core c. 32cm high x 38cm wide, overall width c. 47cm). The best I found do far is
German, Swedish and French, for c. £55 incl VAT and P&P - seems reasonable
I got mine from AB Performance. (Tel. 01284 703101)
From memory, it was £40 plus delivery (circa. £48 all in.)
He's a nice guy and delivery is usually very quick.
Andy.
...BTW, I'm looking for a suitable pressurised header tank.
Have you got a pick of your Rover 25 tank showing the outlets?
I've done a search on ebay and found one (pic below) is this the same as yours and how have you 'modified' yours?
Thanks,
Andy.

volvo 740 run a nice small pressurised header tank , has a 3/4 pipe to feed the radiator tho
This is my expansion tank - looks the same as the one you have pictured. I didn't modify the tank itself, because I am using and ex-Rover 25 K
series engine - just connected the hoses as originally.
Had to make a bracket thingy, though, because there was no room on the bulkhead without a lot of hassle moving stuff
