Fury Sports Cars Manufacturers Plate Image

Can someone please take a picture of their Fury Sports Cars manufacturers plate and also post the dimensions too?

I have asked Steve and Jay at Fury to send me the details as they can't get any done at a reasonable cost and C.D.M. on here has offered to take a look but I am still waiting for Fury to send anything (plus other stuff....!)

Really look good too see here

If it's for IVA and you don't get exactly what you want I got this made by atrophy engraver on eBay, passed IVA last week.

After having spent the last 10 months trying to get details of the manufacturers plate from Fury and getting nothing back I finally gave up and designed my own.

Have previously spoken to Clive when he posted details of his skills on here I contacted him and provided an image of what I needed and he made this within a couple of days.

Is that printed on the Carbon? I thought VIN numbers had to be stamped not printed ?

the manufacturers plate has to be 'indelibly marked. the chassis vin stamped, etched etc.

manufacturer's plate
code:
6. All plate(s) must be indelibly marked with the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) which matches the number marked into the vehicle structure and is displayed in the correct order inside a clearly marked rectangle. (See below and Notes 1, 2 & 5).

code:
Note 1: For markings to be considered 'indelible' they should be unlikely to become disfigured or obliterated during the life of the vehicle. Whilst stamping or engraving is preferable it is possible to accept a printed or painted plate providing it has been treated in such a way that it is most unlikely that essential information would be obliterated or defaced during the normal life of the vehicle.

chassis vin

code:
7. The Stamped in VIN must be marked on the chassis, frame or other similar structure which is not easily removable, on the right hand side of the vehicle when viewed from the rear. (see Notes 6, 8, 9 and 12) 8. The Stamped in VIN must be placed in a clearly visible and accessible position by a method such as hammering, stamping, etching (metal chassis) or embossed, moulded into the structure (glass fibre or carbon fibre chassis) so that it cannot be obliterated or deteriorate.

The plate is laser etched into the carbon and then has the white run into it and then a protective coat over the top so meets the required standard for a manufacturers plate. The vin is stamped into a plate that is welded to the chassis rail.
