Mirrors with integrated turn signals .... Good or bad idea, your thoughts.?

Are you looking at a replacement for the main front indicators or are these just high level repeaters?

Not used them myself , I was tempted by a set last year to act as repeaters but ended up with normal ones....

Pre or post iva?

I like them. Anything that helps you get noticed has to be a good thing.

Agree with previous comment: you'd be smart to do anything to get noticed. Not by the police maybe, but everyone else who will use the excuse they didn't see you. That's why my car ended up white. It wasn't because the "colour" appealed to me.

On failing our first IVA test for the side indicators .
I asked the tester if mirrors with indicators would be ok
for the re-test , he said no!.
& showed us where to put them on the rear arches.
That was at Mitcham last December.

Just don't have two sets of side indicators. Crazy maybe but IVA will fail you.

No relevance to IVA. already have that, just looking for new mirrors, also have side repeaters on side panel, just thought they may enhance the car, but dont want to spoil the look etc

Mercedes and maybe other companies do it and I think it looks naff - a bit like angel eyes on bmw and audi's stupid fairy lights.
