Wanted - Sierra diff and shafts
djtom - 1/12/09 at 10:03 PM

I need a 7" sierra diff and driveshafts for my car. It needs to be a 3.62 or 3.92 non-lsd diff with push-in shafts. The push in shafts must be the fatter of the two types, i.e. originally off any sierra APART FROM any 1.6 or any mk 1 1.8.

I'm not normally this fussy but I have a Tran-X LSD to fit and it needs to go into this specific diff casing with these driveshafts. I have a

I'm in Kent, so within collection distance is preferred, but will consider anything. What have you got? I'm happy to swap for the 7" 3.62 diff and shafts I have here in GWO (but with the skinnier driveshafts!) or can pay with real money!

I think I've got a set of the shafts your after, if your stuck

they were in the garage when I got it (from my dad, he thinks there off our old 2.0 sierra estate) so they've been there a while, but they should clean up (I hope) they'd need new boots though
which bit do I measure to check the size ?

It's the measurement of the section that pushes into the diff that matters. The following pic was from my original post where I was trying to work out why my driveshafts won't fit!

Hi, I've got various diffs 7" 3.62 and 3.92, I'm just outside eastbourne, east sussex so fairly local. Not sure how to identify which casings they are, but they are stripped so I could take some measurements if u like.

I've got the complete rear (and front) end from a 2.0 E reg estate if that's any good - just outside Folkestone.

A complete rear end sounds great - U2U me with how much you want for it.
