RV8 parts clearout

Now that I no longer have the Viento, I am clearing out my remaining Rover V8 parts. Offers invited for all parts. I would prefer collection only, but I may be able to post the smaller items. If interested, please email me rather than leave U2U as I don't check it that often now.

Cheers
James

Could you send me some photos of the heads ? mainly the inlet and exhaust ports.

Have the heads had bullet valve guides fitted ?

Are the valves the waisted stem type?

Regards

Agriv8

Hi Agriv8

Pics of the head(s) attached. Hope these are OK, my camera didn't like the close-up internal shots too much!!

The pic of the port is the inlet. I'm not sure if these are what you call 'bullet' guides, but they are tapered about 5mm from the end. In the exhaust ports you can only see the tapered bit.

The diameters of the valves are:-
Inlet 41.64mm
Exhaust 36.1mm
Valve stem 8.7mm

For info, there are two valve springs on each valve.

I don't think the valve stems are the 'wasted' type, but they do narrow down a little towards the head (probably 1mm on the diameter).

Cheers
