Haynes Roadster project for sale.

Folks, I’m selling for a friend a Haynes Roadster that we were planning on running in the RAF race championship, he’s now been offered and accepted a more serious racecar so this one has to go.

Chassis,
A heavily modified Haynes Roadster chassis, the driver’s bulkhead has been moved aft by approx 3” to allow the gearbox to be operated without the need for an extension. A massive amount of extra braces have been added in prep for racing and the anticipation of the torque that the 3L 12v Alfa V6 would produce, this engine runs through a T5 gearbox with modded bell housing. It also comes with MSA spec roll bar with forward and aft braces. What you get is the following;
One race prepped chassis.
All 8 wishbones with bushes.
Front and rear hubs, with uprights.
Spare damper brackets for you to position.
3.62 sierra LSD.
OBP bias pedal box with all master cylinders.
Upper steering column from a Golf with pivoting adjustment.
Escort quick rack with extn pieces.
There are currently no brakes with the exception of a pair of Sierra rear calipers suitable for exchange, we do have the handbrake cables and lever.

Bodywork wise so far the car has a nosecone, front and rear arches, a rear bulkhead panel and will also have 2 side panels although these may be a little on the thick side.

It’ll also have with it a Polo radiator with electric fan, various dampers, steering wheel and boss, a universal loom from the states, a steel fuel tank and an alloy race tank.

He’s after a figure of £950 ono.

Also for sale is the Alfa engine and modded gearbox, the engine has most of its ancillaries, down pipes and manifolds and the gearbox has its modded clutch assembly. The engine and box including an engine stand is £800. The engine in the pics isn't included in the sale as it's a borrowed dummy block.

Also there is a DTA ecu to run the engine with its loom, but I’m awaiting the details for this. But ball park would be £400.

Still for sale,

The engine has been cam'ed and the exhaust manifolds are tubular ones. There are loads of bits to go with it as well inc. starter and alternator.

There are a good selection of dampers alloy protech and track spax.

Only reason for sale is that I have now purchased a 1971 Mallock to race so this has to go.

Sensible offers welcome.
