Clio Sport (02) For sale
Hi All
I'm selling my Clio Sport (2002) as it's not getting used at all! The car is almost standard and road going. I did a sprint and hillclimb
in it in July (won the class on both days) and that's about it! I was planning on doing more events and some road rallies in it but a)
it's too nice and b) I've not been well :-(
Details as follows:
2 litre - 172 BHP
Mot until January 19th 2012
Tax until 30th April 2012
108000 miles
Standard spec is as follows:
Half leather trim,
Air conditioning
Power steering
ABS
Electric windows
Electric mirrors
Xenon Headlamps
Headlamp washers
Remote central locking (needs a battery) and alarm.
Five headrests and full lap and diagonal rears.
New parts fitted within last 20 miles –
Battery (fitted today! 17/11/11)
Front discs,
Front pads,
Front wheel bearings,
Recon drive shafts
Track Rod ends
Ball joints
Rear discs
Rear pads
Rear wheel bearings
Engine oil and filter change
Gearbox oil.
Mint set of alloys with brand new Yokohama S Drive tyres (still have the labels on!) – the buyer can have three of the original Dezent Motion 17” rims
and tyres and one damaged plus an original Clio Sport rim and tyre. I will sell it without the mint alloys and new tyres for a reduced price.
Modifications
Front coilovers with adjustable platforms and adjustable camber
Rear adjustable platform platform dampers.
I will include the original front and rear dampers, struts, springs etc.
Induction kit (K&N filter on the end of a bit of pipe!)
Front fog lamps have been removed and blanked with CF as one was cracked and I was going to bolt some big lamps on it and do some road rallies which
don’t allow more than 4 forward facing lamps.
Smoked back lights (can’t see the point myself!)
Good bits
A nice little Clio that goes really well!
The standard specification is pretty good!
Had a FSH up to about 70k and cam belt change at that point.
Bad bits
Small dent on roof where something fell on it in the last owner’s garage.
Bonnet a bit chipped.
Steering wheel worn (all the same!)
Back exhaust box needs changing – knocking.
Only two speakers – nothing there when I bought it!
Mileage is a bit high but it does have a lot of new bits!

I'm looking for £1900 ovno with the two sets of alloys or £1700 ovno with the Dezent ones only.
I can also deliver at 25 p per mile so if you're 100 miles away from me (in SA15), that's 200X25 = £50.
