FS: Dell D430 Laptop and Media dock
Evening all - I'm having another clearout and should have a few laptops available. One is already reserved but I should be able to find something
else too.
First laptop is a good spec. one and it's still under warranty too. Warranty has about a year still to run. It covers all hardware failures and
it's a NBD (next business day)
This means if in the slim chance something goes wrong Dell will come out to your chosen place (work/home) and repair the machine free of charge.
Right - it's a Dell D430 sub notebook. This means it's almost as small as a netbook but still has all the features of a full size laptop.
Intel Core Duo 1.2
2 Gig RAM
80 Gig SATA drive
Bluetooth 2.0
Extended battery (a good 1.5 hours)
Wifi (Draft N)
Wifi catcher (find AP's without booting)
Loads of warranty left (September 4th 2010)
Vista Business or XPp
Trackpad AND Nipple
The laptop also has a media dock. This means a DVDRW burner and a full range of ports.
DVI
VGA
Ethernet
A further 4 USB's
COM port (ideal for MS/ECU software)
LPT
DVDRW burner
Headphones
The laptop came with Vista Business or XP Pro. This particular one came with an upgrade option to Vista so either can be installed legally. I will do
a fresh clean install for whoever wants. I've run Windows 7 on it too and it runs this really well.
I will include all genuine Dell software required and a Dell charger too.
This was a very expensive laptop when new - about £700 ex VAT.
I'm happy for collection but I can mail this at a cost of £15. That includes insurance and 24 to 48hr. I can package the laptop in original Dell
boxes.
The laptop, dock and charger are all in excellent condition. There's a slight shine to the right side where the Intel and OS sticker reside.
It's not marked, just a little shiney! I've sold quite a lot of laptops on LCB now and I'm proud that I've always sold clean, tidy
and good condition machines. This is more expensive than my normal range - but it's still in warranty, it's in excellent condition and
it's a stonking spec!

i had one of those for a while. cracking little laptop. battery life was around 4-5hours with extended battery if i remember correctly
Anything With Tits or Wheels Will cost you MONEY!!
