1992 Honda Fireblade RRN - Modern Classic

Here it is guy's, the one that started it all.......

As per the title, it's time to part with my blade due to the fact it's just not gettin used (waitin for a knee op) and I'm going travelling next year so it's just gonna sit there.

It's a 1992 - registered on Aug 1st, they don't come any earlier haha

Done 46k, but been well looked after. Previous to me it was owned by a guy a used to work with from 2003, so I've known the bike and how it's been looked after for 6 years now.

Has a pipe/jets/filter and a dark screen. These are the only mods, and I have the originl screen and can to go with it, so can easily be put back to standard if someone wanted to ? Also has purple pegs (a la early 90's trends ;D lol) and a grab rail, but both are easily changed/removed.

Will be sorry to see it go, as it's a great ride, and obviously a classic already - but it's wrong to leave it sat there and I'm gonna need the money to travel. Would like it gone sooner rather than later as I'm doing a garage extension at home so want as much stuff out of the way as possible to make things easier.

Not quite sure how much it's worth, so please fire offers at me as you see fit and we can go from there.

If you wanna see pics of anything in particular on the bike then just let me know.

Pic as promised :

Edited to add - May take an estate car of similar or less value (pref mk3 golf diesel) in as swap/p/x as I'm also gettin rid of my van soon

Classic, very much the bike that started it all....

Wonder where Honda went after this in subsequent years, while everybody else got pretty much ahead.

Good luck, a lovely classic for someone.

Go on, you know you want to

If you come down and have a look, you're welcome to take it for a ride and experience early 90's time travel for yourself (please be aware though that this will inevitably lead to a sale within minutes lol - it did for me). Obviously we'd find a private road as it's not tax'd & mot'd at the mo cos it's hibernating

Im going home now and not logging on until later and maybe will have time to calm down, lol.
Good luck with the sale
