Garage clearout

Time to try and make some space in my garage so a few items up for grabs. Collection only for these items I'm afraid, but that can be from Bracknell, one of the Newlands meets or the Stoneleigh show.

I've tried to be very fair with the pricing, but if you think I've got it wrong by all means try an offer, I won't be offended (much).

This also coincides with my first ever attempt to post pics on locostbuilders, so if I cock up please be gentle with me.... Pics are in photo archive if needed.

Here we go,

1 - Pair of unused brake disks 240mm, 48mm offset, 4x108. I think possibly of Peugeot origin, handy for that rear disk conversion? £15

2 - Escort mk2 wheel with usable tyre. Free to collector.

3 - Xflow stainless 4-2-1 exhaust. Originally a Caterham item I think, the outlet angle has been modified slightly to suit a standard width locost. £30

4 - A selection of alternators from k series engines. All working to the best of my knowledge. From L-R £5, £10, £15, or £25 for the lot.

5 - 32DGAV carb & manifold removed from a 1600 xflow GT spec engine. In excellent clean condition, £30.

6 - Nippon Denso alternator in excellent condition. Hopefully the label will id it, may have been from a Daihatsu Charade. £15

10 - Escort RS2000 type 9" rear drum brakes. Backplates redrilled to suit locost, original drillings obviously still usable if needed. Good shoes, drums and cylinders, all springs/fittings included, just need a fresh lick of paint. £25

Damn, it's obviously convinced that's a Pinto starter, I'm guessing I've got two pics in the archive with the same title.

You all know what one looks like anyway....

I would take the carb and manifold but only if you are able to post. See what you think and PM me the total cost and your address for payment if you could do that.

Does the exhaust manifold bring the exhaust out the side of the car for a side mounted silencer? The xflow on the Dutton has a normal under car system and it's limiting the ride height as seen here:

(will also need to sort the sump as well of course!)

I'm really trying to avoid getting involved with p&p, but I'll check out the likely cost and get back to you both.

Yes, it's a side exit manifold. It fits a locost perfectly but would almost certainly need modding to fit the Dutton.

No I'm well aware they're the ugly duckling of the sevenesque world! Even I sometimes catch it from odd angles and throw up in my mouth a little bit....

Will go have a measure regards the 17".

Hi,

If for any reason Alex decides he doesn't want the Nippon Denso alternator I'd be interested. Can also collect.

Cheers,

Martin.

Belated thanks for the manifold, not fitted yet but using hi-tech 'holding it in place' technology looks the business. Now to sort a side mounted silencer and a shortened sump and I can have the Dutton in the weeds.
