Hi all,
Unfortunately time has come to atleast think about selling my lovely Tiger Supercat 2.0.
A summary of spec:
Completed and first registered: January 2013
2.0 Zetec
Twin 45's Webbers
Full cage
Aeroscreen
Intatrim Odyssey 2 Seats
Sabelt Harnesses
Hi Spec 4 pots front brakes
Braided hoses
16" TSW Alloys with full size spare (set of 5)
Yokohama tyres
Circa 175bhp
I purchased it from the original builder in June 2013, who had enjoyed building it over the past couple of years and wanted to move on to a new
project. It was originally purchased as a complete kit with all major parts and some decent upgrades direct from Tiger. I believe there to be around
£14k worth of invoices in the box files that came with it. It had done about 80 miles when I purchased it. I purchased it as a toy to hopefully get a
few fair weather trips out, attend some meetings and do the odd track day, however due to work commitments initially and then illness I have never
gotten round to the latter.
Since then it has had very little use and only on fine weather weekends.
I have done some minor tinkering since it was completed, including uprating the master cylinder to a more suitable bore as the Sierra one that came as
part of the kit was too large to offer decent braking without the servo. Had a full service at 500 miles at a race prep specialist, along with a
suspension, geometry and steering set up ready for a forthcoming track day. Unfortunately my health circumstances changed and I was unable to attend
the track day. Consequently having also purchased a full windcreen, side supports and had the glass cut, ready for a winter project, the car has
remained untouched in my garage for the past year.
I am happy to include the complete windscreen setup with the car for the new owner, particularly as the wiper motors are all installed and working.
Pleasingly the car started just like normal when I took it down the driveway a few days ago.
It is a real shame to let her go as she sounds great, drives great and looks great too, however I cant see me ever getting the use out of her that she
was originally purchased for.
I just thought that I would put it out there to see if there is any interest. I have been advised that it is worth between £7k & £8k, so think
around £7k to be a realistic figure.
I do have pictures but I dont know how to post them on here - however it is the same car that you can see in my details.
I am happy to provide more detail and pictures if you are interested, so please ask.
Thanks for looking.
If interested please see photos in my PHOTO ARCHIVE.
Just click on "photo archive" underneath my author / contributor details.
Thanks
A bit more specification:
Alpha Performance Ignition Management
Removeable steering wheel
Inboard front suspension
Adjustable Spax all round
Sparco Pedals
Sparco front mudflaps
Short Shifter
T9 gearbox
Dominator headlamps
An excellent car for road or track.
Great performance but without the fragility of a bike engine and the easy maintenance and availaibility of parts of a Ford.
I have a box file from the builder with paperwork pertaining to the build, with build photos, certain manuals, all receipts, documents relevant to the
car.
Thanks

Thanks Matt!
Did my message get through?
U2U sent.
Thanks
Cat now has a fresh MOT as of the 29th March - passed without any advisories.
Mileage is actually only 800!
Because of all this lovely weather I have just taxed and insured it and hope to try and enjoy it before she sells! Consequently the mileage may go up
a bit.
Thanks for looking.
I have a SuperCat too, I must say yours does look very nice and great VFM by spec.
Sorry to crash your F/S thread, but can I ask what master cylinder you upgraded to? I used the Sierra one and concur with your feeling about it not
being best suited. Thanks.
Hope sale goes well.
Hey Joe,
Thanks for your comments.
U2U sent with the details.
Thanks
OK so I have some more pics of the dash and interior as requested, however for some reason now I cannot upload them to my photo archive.
I have shrunk them all down to around 2mb
I have ensured that they are all .jpg
I have changed the names to random names and characters so not to match a file name already on this site (as suggested in the forums)
I have emailed chris as I keep getting either the unsupported file type (although .jpg) message or must be alphanumeric message, but have yet to have
a response.
Anybody else had / having this problem?
Thanks
It'll be the size. I shrink all mine down to less than 1mb and don't have any issues. There is a specific size somewhere but I can't remember what it is.
Thanks sdh2903 - that was the problem. All resized down to around 700kb and they have uploaded fine.

Sorry guys - been offline for a month or so, apologies for not getting back to you all sooner.
I have pm'd each of you who have asked specific questions.
Partly my fault for being away however have decided to reduce her to £6500 for a quick sale.
This is a bargain as she has still not covered 1000 miles as of yet.
Thanks
Hi Fearney, pm'd.
Thanks
Thank you for all your interest, but the car is now sold to Matt.
I hope you get plenty of enjoyment fettling and driving her!
All the best.
