I’ve won my class (sport libre) at Wigan sprint & Barbon hill climb with this engine so it’s a good tried and tested low mileage motor.
Gearbox and Hondata Flashpro by separate agreement are available. These engines are a handful in a light car when they hit vtec so I had the flashpro and mapping fitted at a cost of around £900 which uses the standard ecu (included), but allows a re-map to tune to your requirements. You can set the rev limiter and launch control also with the flashpro. I have the limiter set to 9000 rpm which works well.
