FS Luego Viento

Sadly I have to part with my Luego Viento.

I built it in 2005/6, and have had it on the road for 6 summers.
Its done 6600 miles from new.

The engine is a Rover 3.5L V8.
I rebuilt the engine.
Block and head surfaces had a bare minimum skim to ensure flatness.
The crank was measured and had minimal wear, and was just polished up.
New Main, Big End and Cam bearings.
New Viper Hurricane Cam (New followers and rockers and shafts)
New Oil Pump
Rebored +20 thou and new 9.25:1 Pistons.
New clutch, cover and release bearing.
The heads were mildly ported, and valves reground. New valve springs.
4 Barrel Webber 500 carb.
Mallory Unalite Electronic Dizzy (NOT the cheaper twin point job)
New Alternator.

All new brake calipers, discs, pads and master cylinders at build.
In fact all mission critical parts were new at the time of the build. ie steering braking and suspension.

New Battery this year.
All Caerbont Gauges from Greengauges.com
Hallogen headlights

The Wheels are Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's 8" front and 9" rear with new tyres at the time of the build. ie done 6k6 miles.

2.4 Turns Lock to Lock Quick Rack. (new at build time)

Sides, stone guards, engine bay shelf and rear of scuttle are mirror polished stainless steel.
Exhaust is all stainless, and polishes up well.
Cobra Seats

Thatcham Cat2 Imobiliser

Mot until April 2013
Currently SORN (can tax at buyers expense if required)

£6000.

To build a car to a similar spec would cost a lot more than £6k. Not to mention having the hassle of an IVA etc.

Youtube video of car with Engine running etc. (Video done earlier in the year when I was replacing the water hoses with Silicon ones)
