205 Gti track car for sale

Guys my 205 gti is for sale to help fund then next project.

1988 1.6 shell with 1.9 engine (88K ) retained the 1.6 gearbox for better ratios (quicker acceleration)

Very good shell with little or no rust a real peach for its age.

4 owners from new inc Me and my Gaffer
I have known the car for 18 months and it has done 3 trackdays and been taken to a couple of shows and weekend blasts by me (1100 miles in last 18 months)

Oil and filter and fuel filter changed after every track day.

Basic spec is as follows
Bought as a standard road car 18 months ago and the follwing done in the last 1100miles
35mm lowered all round
Recon rear beam by coventry transmissions
Rollcentre welded in rollcage
Stripped out
2 NEW cobra monaco 2 buckets
4 x good yokahama Parada spec 2's
New Cv boots (For this mot)
New lower engine mount
New ARB droplinks (for this mot)
New discs and pads (for MOT 150 miles ago)
New leads and plugs and dizzy cap.(for MOT)

Handles well and is a hoot to drive, only for sale to fund new project.

10months MOT
4months Tax (may or may not include in the sale price.

It really is a shame to let her go, its in such good nick it would even be a good base for a restoration to original spec but i need the space and the new project will appreciate the input of cash .

Lovely looking car. I had exactly the same (Silver 1.6 converted to 1.9, and stripped naked!) and I loved every minute of it! Good luck with the sale - someone will be very happy...

Looks a real bargain for someone,that won't be for sale very long,you could not build a track car for anywhere,near that sort of money,considering a good roll cage will cost you £500,a couple of seats and harnesses and your upto a £1000 at least

Your Right Paul, its cost a lot more in bits than the sale price but thats always the way with these kind of projects!
