MNR Vortx RT in blue with black interior. 152 BHP carbed Yamaha R1 engine, 0-60 in around 4 seconds.
After 3 fun filled years, I've decided to sell my VortX. With a new project demanding my time, I've none left to spend in the MNR so
reluctantly I've decided to sell it on.
It is an MNR VortX RT with new shape bodywork
1998 R1 carbed engine with sump baffle plate, dynojetted and rolling roaded at 152 BHP, which in a half tonne car is pretty quick.
Barnett Clutch with uprated springs eliminates clutch slip and gives better pedal feel.
Custom airbox with inlet silencer reduces induction roar and improves mid range smoothness.
Custom turned aluminuim trumpets improves air flow for better top end power.
Two exhaust silencers for low noise (was measured at 96.7 dB(A) last year). This means that not only will you not have any problems should you want to
take this car to a track day (and you will!) but you won't annoy your neighbours or damage your ears on long runs. Most bike engined cars are
quite a bit louder.
3.62 sierra Limited Slip Differential
Disc brakes all round
Protech adjustable alloy coilover dampers
Lockable boot box
Padded seats with new 4 point harnesses
Q registration means "visible smoke" emissions test at MOT
Heater
Wind deflector
Half doors
RAL 5005 blue
Registered 30/12/05
Covered 11,000 miles
Tax and MOT until December 2009
The MNR is a beautiful car to drive. Composed yet supple. Balanced, with huge grip and with 0-60 in about 4 seconds, very quick. Padded seats make
covering distances easy and the half doors keep the wind and weather off your hands and arms, whilst keeping more of the heat from the heater in.
Perfect when a sunny afternoon drive out turns into an evening drive home. Comprehensive insurance costs me less than £200 for the year and with
summer coming, now's the time to pick up a bargain.
Advertised elsewhere for a reduced price of £6750, see Pistonheads ad for photos. Offers
invited.

what a shame, and what a bargain! I hope you still champion the BECs at the South Brum meets - we are low on numbers!
Good luck with the sale - I'm sure it will go at that price!
BECs rule
Id buy it, if I didn't have a car already.
Stick it on Pistonheads.
Perfect timing at the moment and reasonably priced too, compared to some I've seen recently (and sold !).
I think the IVA may have driven prices up slightly.

Have tried many times, she says they are too dangerous! Yet she has just let me go out and buy a Lancer EVO 6 as a weekend toy, but to be honest I
really fancy one of these!
Bloody women!!
I've just thought, I should add some photos to this thread.
