Side panels, cut short or cut holes?
I was just wandering about side panels, the GTS ones come full length so we have to cut holes out for the wishones and suspension. some kits just have
the panel cut shorter so that it stops where the wishbones start, is this a potensial SVA failure or purely asthetics?

Cut the small holes.
Looks lots better and if you balls it all up, you can then cut them short!
Lots of cardboard.

Make them one piece and cut small holes.

All front protrusions need checking with the EU shaped knee thingie.. So, if you cut holes in the full size panels you can quite happily cover up at
least the rear suspension mounts, maybe even the front ones too. Whereas if you cut down the panels in size and leave the suspension exposed you might
need to radius the edges of the mounts.
I think it looks a bit nicer with just the holes cut out. One of calvinx's bits of wisdom was to work out where the holes need to be and then
mask it all off and get a holesaw on it. Makes easy and very tidy work of it!!

What do people think of adding alu bits to make it look like holes have been cut? I was thinking I could extend them to go underneath as well,
increasing aerodynamics slightly (hey every little bit helps). Mine are already cut short.

Dont see why that wouldnt work. As long as you make a good job of it. Most people with alu side panels have to have a joint anyway as a single sheet
length isnt long enough to cover the full length of the side of the car
