hi all, i was thinking of making my dash and was wondering what to do with this bit?

is the adjustable sierra column cowl not longer?? seem to remember reading something on here

I'm sure my column sits closer to the dash than that?? I'll go check later. The top of the standard cowling is quite short though.

I just glued ribbed rubber mat to the inside of the cowl and tucked it under the dash, looks really production.
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

I formed a bit of ally sheet, covered it with black vinyl and secured each side with a black self tapper into the plastic cowel. Have a look at
Hellfires build site for pictures (I copied what they did).

Dash Cowl
Had same problem. Bought a sierra one & shortened it.

LOL - for SVA I cut two 2 litre Tesco value water bottles, glued together and covered in black insutlation tape! Got rid of it now but still not got
round to tidying it up; it is exces weight anyway and the area behind the steering wheel is not tested othjer than wiring being secure.

there are 2 sizes of cowl, the longer cowl is off the adjusatble column
