Fitting Four Point Seat Belt

Having already tacked my seat belt top mounts in at the correct height, but at 140mm from centre of seat im wondering if the top mounts are too wide apart.

Is there a limit of how close to the centre of the seat they can be?

I dont have belt holes in my Seats.

there is a height requirement I believe for the mountings. I would also suggest you fitted the belts and strapped yourself in to see where they are resting on your shoulerd you dont want them 2 wide apart

Sat in it today after tacking the roll bar.

The belts sit high enough, but seem to be slightly to wide as it does not take much to let them drop of shoulders.

Im sure i read once that you can't have the belts wrapping round the edge of the seat.

When i went for sva at Mitcham two months ago, the inspector was going to make us put our rear / top belts around the seats as he was not happy about the change of angle as they went through the seat belt slots in the roadster 7 seats ( still cannot understand why he was going to fail us as he was testing them with no one in the seat, but it would only be an issue when some one was in it in a crash) . Anyway he discided that the beefed up seat mounts were good enough, but the point is he was going to let us do that.
If they are falling off your shoulder he will no dout fail it.
