Rims on the instruments may be a problem due to radius?

While they are similar to the Triumph items but looking at the details I am 90% sure they are from either Singer Vogue (Arrrow range) or Sunbeam
Alpine Fastback (Arrow Range)
The speedo calibration in number of cable turns per mile will be a number roughly in the range 800 to 1200 written in a tiny font at the bottom of
the speedo dial face -- usually about the 6 o'clock position.

Sunbeam Alpine 1970 to 1975
Really a poverty spec Rapier with a single carb and a Singer Vogue dash.

All the Rapiers I've seen had individual dials for fuel, temp, oil etc - with orange needles and lettering if I recall.
Cheers

I didn't say they were off a Rapier --- The Alpine used the veneered plywood Singer/Subeam Vogue dash.

Indeed you didn't - I was merely offering a useless snippet of info
No offence intended
