Can anyone see an issue with...
Mounting my harnesses under the roll bar cross bar as opposed to on top? I plan on filling the void from above with silicone and bonding a cap on top
to meet IVA edge radius regs
Bolting them on top gives the wrong angle to enter the harness slots in the seats
The angle on the first pic makes it look like the harness mounts are way wider than the slots but the seat wasnt sat in right for the pic, they do
come out quite parallel and nice

As long as the harness doesn't slope up to the holes it should be fine. If the are mounted lower than the seat holes then the seat
will/can/might (delete depending on tester/station) be regarded as structural. Mine were checked with a spirit level at SVA, when 2 testers disagreed
on whether they sloped up or down.

Looks a good solution.
You could always fit a very short bolt into the top hole nd then cover with a IVA proof cap

Exactly what I have done - inc the short bolt and IVA cover from above - if |I get to IVA first I'll let you know the result :-)
