Can I just give it a coat of black shoe polish and buff to get it looking good??? Locost styleeee................ or does in really need some special
leather treatment?

Can't you buy leather treatment for your sofa? Could be worth a try.

The leather dyes that you can but, particularly in black, are very effective. With respect to ongoing care, I am on my second pot if Renapur Leathet
Balsam - it gets used on shoes, leather interiors, wife's bags etc. The first pot lasted 10 years! Awesome product.

Thats the price you pay for all of that sunshine you get over there, its damaging your leather.
I was in SA for 3 weeks about 2 years back (my wife is half south african) what a great place to own a 7 type car.
Sorry I have no info on how to improve your steering wheel.
Give a man a fish & it will feed him for a day, give him a fishing rod & you've saved a fish.

Thanks Guys, I will visit the local saddlers shop and try some saddle soap.
And yes it's great climate for a 7, the winter is great, it's very dry and very sunny, it's not rained since April. Gets a bit
chilly at night though.

Funnily enough, the steering wheel on my single seater is like that and guess what, it spent most of it's life in South Africa......
