cobra monaco pro seats FIA status

i bought some a few years ago for my car, but decided against using them, so deciding to move them on. never fitted, but one has been in the garage so a bit dusty, but how do the FIA dates work?

this is the markings i have on them

i'd like to get most of the money back, but i guess thats depending on how much FIA use there is in them?

also got the side mounts for them, currently selling for about £460 for the pair (inc side mounts) on merlin motorsport

if anyones interested in them for a race/rally/track car, give me a shout. will stick them on ebay eventually, really need to pay of the card i bought them on lol

thats probably about right. think i got them in the feb, so how long are they FIA valid for? is it like 3 years from manufacture? 5 years? or is it when the acceptable standard changes, so when FIA8855-1999 changes to something like 8856-2011 or something?

The Blue Book should tell you - http://www.msauk.org/uploadedfiles/msa_forms/bluebooks/11/152-190%20Competitor%20Safety.pdf

Sorry but it's way too late for me to try and understand it!

I dont think seats are like harnesses, the dates dont expire. the FIA8855 1999 standard is still current. I dont even think there are many series/dispiplines that require the fia approval, they just need to be fit for purpose. There is certainly no mention of dates in the bluebook.
