Transmission Tunnel
The Baron - 23/2/08 at 01:28 PM

I've just cocked up my transmission cover (the top part) again. It could be salvageable if----- I could get hold of some 90 degree trim ideally aluminium angle. I have looked in B&Q but there ally angle would fail the 2mm radius as it has a sharp external corner, does any one:-

1. know here I could get some ally angle with a 2mm radius,
2. Or know where I could get some ‘other’ 90 degree trim to do the same job.

Cheers in advance.

You want some "Hockey Stick" Trim, I think some other places call it "J" Trim aswell.

It's available form a few of the kit manufacturers, but not sure if the conventional shops sell it.

I used anodized step edging from B&Q which Mr SVA loved.

I took the hockey trim off mine and commisioned a full pad to be made. Much better solution - all together more tailored. Only cost £55 with some pockets.
