Hi!, quick R1 dash question.
Snap-off - 12/6/07 at 06:33 PM

Hi Guys, been on here for a few months now and thought i would introduce myself and start asking some questions as I'm spending more time on the PC researching than building. I am doing things arse about face and collecting / preparing everything for the build so when I get the kit I don't run out of space.
Anyway, on my dash I want to position the clocks where the template is on the photo. When I put the wheel on will I have issues at SVA if it is obscured?

Cheers,
Steven. Rescued attachment newdash.jpg

Hi Mate,

Your hand may obscure the analogue dial.

May find an alternative here:

Hi, it's a Mac#1 blank.
Thanks.

you can obscure the dial with the steering wheel. So long as the clocks are within 127mm of the steering wheel, you're OK. look at my photo archive for my dash.

that dash looks very familiar, not sure where from though
i went with clocks behind the steering wheel due to the amount they stand off the dash

i'm flattered that you chose to do the same, good luck with your build
