very nice!
Thats a caterham dash.
From what i have seen from the caterham showroom in caterham that curved bar is a bolt on piece so could be incopirated into a locost chassis. (i may
be wrong as my memory is crap!!!)
Thats right that dash is an optional bolt on.
That dash wouldnt work in my car. Gauges would be on wrong side.
You could always turn it upside down!
Nice way of achieving the under dash radius as well
Nice one
Do you know how itīs made?
Are there aluminium pipes we see there in the picture?
I believe the dash is made from steel and is an integeral part of the chassis. It looks like a good way of getting some stiffness into that area of
the chassis, which is a bit of weak area on the locost. Not only for overall stiffness but side impact protection too. Its got me thinking now...

Rescued attachment dash_moulded_carbon.jpg
Probably cheaper if you buy that from GTS, looks identical !!!
They fit nicely in the GTS scuttle, dont know about fitting them to anything else

Thanks for that, they are also available from SVC @ Ģ70.
Anyone know how much GTS charge for them?
Not got one yet but i think they are about Ģ60.
I read that the Caterham dash does increase chassis stiffness, but I can't remember by how much.
