Morning all
Having to make to remake the dash on the fury. Im trying to find places to get some 3mm or 2mm carbon effect plastic sheet but have only found
something for £120 who is way yay to expensive for a dash. Any ideas or places people can recommend for something similar? Doesn't have to be
carbon look a likely but something that's pleasing to the eye :-)
Depends how complex you want it to be, I built mine with layers of MDF and covered it with leather cloth and 3M 1080 carbon vinyl.

Bog standard plastic sheet with a carbon fibre vinyl wrap?
Mazie, the stuff that is in there at the moment was from fishers originally, they may be able to help, I did have some left over, wil check to see if
I still have it and it is in a fit state to use (probably a slim chance though). You could always use ally sheet and wrap it in film. You can even get
dark blue catbon fibre wrap to match the rest of the car -

This is a bit cheaper, not sure about the width http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/carbon-fibre-effect-abs-1350x600mm
Even cheaper - http://www.technologysupplies.co.uk/abs-carbon-fibre-effect-1372x660x2-0mm.html
More size choices here - http://www.plasticstockist.com/ABS-Sheet/Black-Carbon-Fibre-Effect-Abs-Sheet.aspx
Hope this helps.

I have bought ABS carbon effect from playskool motorport for my boot lid.
My dash is made from a sheet of grp with the bottom radius covered with 3m di-noc, the di-noc is much nicer.
Did the tunnel aswell.

Adrian thanks for the links, the last one is where I'd looked but typically I need a minimum length of 1400 and they stock 1372 or then 3metres.
Might go for di-noc over plain acrylic that I've already got stashed.
Does the 3m carbon fade or mark easily ??
40inches- nice interior, that looks the business!
DiNoc is architectural and has been superseded by 1080 for automotive use. It has a slight gloss to it, I have used both and think the 1080 looks much nicer. In my opinion You use an exterior trim treatment, 3M recommend McGuires (sp) Ultimate.
