I'm trying (but failing) to find those clips that are commonly used to hold your grilles on the front of domestic speaker cabinets.
They usually consist of a male ball or 'cross' shaped stiff bit that pushes into a soft squidgy female bit (no giggling at the back) and
'pop' apart or together accordingly.
I'm trying to refurbish a pair of old Bose speakers (the ones that you used to see in pubs a lot)
...I'm sure i've seen them somewhere but can't locate now...I don't even know what they're called.
Any suggestions appreciated.

edit, maybe it wasn't the top result, but it was on the first page anyway

Fantastic!!.....What took you so long?
Spot on though. Many thanks
no worries i suspect they may not be standard sizes for everyone (my speakers have a plastic plug that fit into a ruber bush) so don't expect one half to fit the other half already in the speaker. if the whole lot's being replaced then its all good
Standard sizes? They're a complete myth i recon
I've got a hammer so i dont anticipate any issues.
Seriously though....these Bose speakers have a corner grille that wraps around and so has the male poppers set at 90 degrees to each other...and so
they have the poppers 'shaved down' on one side to allow them to be 'peeled off' according to the old manual. I ask ya!!!
I'm only sorting them for the garage and I seem to be going over the top as usual.
what ones are they? i like bose speakers, more a cerwin vega fan these days though
Description
Pretty much these but mine are a bit less tacky looking. I think HMV used them and other pubs and shops and things because they'd take the
hammer.
Cerwin Vega!......I bought a pair of C60's back in ....erm about 1989...and cracked the plaster in my parent's house!! Still have them and
if anything they sound better now.
I haven't heard any of their recent generation of speakers but I'm guessing they're still shifting a lot of bass air?

oh yes mine are ve12's, they're probably not as good as the older models, but they still sound awesome. up to 200watts, but i've got
a 100 watt amp, and they still shake the house
i always liked the bose speakes with the 2 holes on the front.
