Nice retro look

blakep82 - 16/2/09 at 11:03 PM

it'll certainly do the job

looks like toggle switches though, if the car's not already SVAd, could cause a problem?

Jasongray5 - 16/2/09 at 11:04 PM

Well done, Looks realy smart!
Is it going to pass the radius test with mr. SVA?

chris_smith - 16/2/09 at 11:13 PM

toggle switches are in the exempt zone so think they will pass and the edges of speedo are flush with vinyl

Very nice

jabbahutt - 17/2/09 at 08:16 AM

top job, have you tried it in the car yet to see what it looks like?

Mr Whippy - 17/2/09 at 08:25 AM

that's a nice tidy job, I'd have been pleased with that if I'd done it myself

well done

niuce job, as you say for the first effort.

consider it the mk1 version. why, did you place the 2 clocks in the narrower section when there is more room for them above the water temp/fule gauge clock?

that would be the mk II version.

Look good

Why the odd shape cut out around the steering column area?

neilj37 - 17/2/09 at 10:55 AM

Surprised that the toggle switches fall in the exempt zone i thought this only applied to instruments behind or within a small 127mm zone around the steering wheel

yeah kind of thought that myself tbh

YQUSTA - 17/2/09 at 12:39 PM

Maybe a lorry steering wheel

RoadkillUK - 17/2/09 at 06:34 PM

I'm sure the toggle switches are in the exemption zone. The zone only applies around the steering wheel.

the pic here shows the dash in place. the 127mm is just outside the left hand toggle

looking good but I think that blue hose may need a few more clips. m.
