brake pipe route live axle
i have trawled the search facility to no avail,
just after a picture so tomorrow when i get to the garage i can just crack on and start installing the brake pipe and cylinder etc
im really after the picture where you guys have gone after exiting the tunnel to the drums, with live axle not irs or de-dion
all pictures and pointers much appreciated

I would stop the copper at the end of the tunnel and fix it to a bracket. Then run a flexi on to the axle before switching back to solid to run along
the axle both ways from a T-piece.

As above, you obviously have to have the flexi in there with it being a live axle so easiest is as said above - flexi to a t-piece somewhere
convenient near the middle-ish. Hardest part i found was routing it neatly around the chassis member while keeping it clear of the axle to keep Mr SVA
happy (and my braking system in one piece!!)

There are loads of Escort websites on the net that will give you plenty of ideas on the best way to do it.
I should have stressed FORD Escort!

We're just rebuilding ours after the crash, luckily for you it gives a clear view of the connection.
Edited to mention that the bendy hose is the wiring loom

MIne is as per above but the pipe runs along the top of the axle and braided hose from t piece to chassis.

This is how it's done on the Stylus, slave brake cylinders in series btw. As it's on the original escort mk2.
