FORD Brake union + Pressure switch
Hey all, I've got a FORD branded 3 way union in one of the front lines for a brake pressure switch. Its playing up and i'd like to change
it when i bleed the brakes.
Is it likely to be UNF or M10?
Or will I just have to bite the bullet and take it off and get one to match? Thanks all.

do you want to change the switch or the union?
if it's on an indy, i'd imagine it'd be M10x1
i guess there's no hard and fast rule though.
do metric and imperial unions have different spanner sizes? just thinking you could check the rigid line spanner size to determione metric or
imperial.

Switch is what needs changing as the lights arent coming on straight away and cant seem to find any air.
Yeah its on an indy.. and when i last undid it i used an adjustable! (So no idea what size!)
I think it should be m10 too but thought you guys might have a few ideas.

Prob metric but intill you take it out and measure the thread pitch you can't tell..
I would remove, and go to a motor factor with the part...

Real problem is the brake system is working below the design pressure for the switch.
Why don't you consider a mechanical switch working off the pedal -- could be wired in parallel with existing switch.
