paddle shift / column query

Was looking at my column and paddle shift earlier and noticed it's a tad wobbly ( technical term there )

Should I have some sort of bearing btween the shaft and the paddle shift housing you reckon?

Cheers
Ben

That's the bush kit o go through the bulkhead.

There's a small bearing in the top of the sierra column in the aluminium colar that has the ignition barrel attached. It's very thin and cheap looking, but it does the trick.

I don't have a photo, but someone might come along in a minute who does.
