Front antiroll bar mounting pictures
Anybody care to post up their pics of their antiroll bar mountings.
Both chassis and wishbone ends plz.
Looking for ideas

zetec: That's a nice setup you have there. Quite often these anti-roll setups can make the suspension on 7's look overly cluttered, yours
doesn't seem that way at all.

All MKs work. They supplied me with a kit. They fit them to the cars they supplied for the Spanish race series. Dont see many in the UK.

why would you need an anti roll bar using double wish bone suspension such as these kit cars?
will there be much forward/back movement ?

Having a double wishbone suspension does not automaticaly guarantee a high roll stiffness. Anti-roll bars can be used with all suspension types.
I'm not sure what you mean about forward/back movement. Are you perhaps confusing the use of an anti-roll bar in some production cars that
serve the double purpose of locating the bottom suspension arm?

yea, possibly - im writting and thinking about me Capri's front suspension - that serves the purpose of locating teh bottom of the strut...
What does an Anti roll bar do ( i know what the name suggests, but what action does it have on the car its self )...
Are there any good links i can use to read up on this?

Good question saigon - im interested too. I cant think why you need one if the double wishbones are designed and secured correctly.

to cut it short, it helps reduce roll in corners - you want the car to be as level as possible to avoid upsetting any relevant geometry. Springs alone
help reduce the roll, but its apparently better to have softer springs and a roll bar dedicated to posture.
