AAAAAAAARGH thats better.
I had welded the shock brackets on my axle and found my shocks were to long as usual.
shock before
So i took the angle grinder to it and cut the brackets off.
shock after
Much better. Got about 10mm ish gap between the axle and chassis at full droop.

I just need to make up a little spacer to go between the shock and the bracket and clean up me axle and paint it now.
Im glad it worked i thought i was going to have to get a new pair of shocks.

Andy, where did you get your De-dion set from? Looking to make one myself due to being tight Or, does anyone know of someone who can bend 50mm x 5mm
CDS?

I built it from a kit of parts supplier by MK Engineering (£80).
50mm x 5mm CDS Might as well use an axle as you won't save any weight! Mine is made from 50mm x 2mm ERW. It does flex a bit but I
haven't broken it yet and I've done 40miles on rough country roads!
