Suspension set up question
Evening,
Please take a look at these two pics, The adjustment on the lower arm to bottom ball joint
is clearly different on each side of the car. The car has been recent set up by RAW,
Is this a normal set up?

Did they not say anything was odd with the settings when you picked it up?
It could be that the wishbone chassis brackets werent jigged very well and thats what it took to get it all square.

Does it matter which end they have adjusted as long as the dimension from the polybush centre to the centre of the balljoint is the same?

That's part of the reason the adjuster is there, to adjust out any inaccuracies in the chassis mounts and the arm lengths. I wouldn't
worry about it at all

If the suspension has been setup by an expert and feels right then the adjusters are doing the job as intended.
What you are seeing is normal for probably most chassis. Thread lengths would only be equal if the chassis was built to completely symetrical
tolerences, which most are not.

I agree with everyone else. A geo set up is not just about ride heights, corner weights, toe, camber etc. Its about getting the car as square as
possible on its wheels in relation to the chassis. If they have wound out the lower arm its probably for good reason.
