Uprights reconditioned. Cortina.
So i did the electrolysis thing a few month back and eventually got all my uprights done.
So from this for £40
Then 2 days per item in caustic soda n electrolysis n then hammerite spray.
New bearings.
And........
Got a bit of grease on the bottom arm....
I'm very pleased with the result. Total cost incuding the abive rusty urights n calipers, discs n pads, bearings, paint n soda is £86.00
Thanks

Just put a nice radius on 'any' sharp forward facing edges..
TBH i only did the rod end..
Tester went straight for mine and found an edge 'lump' i had missed..
Gave me a file - sorted..
radius track rod end
The brake pipe brackets look good to use too.
I passed with 60/40 master cylinder.
M16 calipers
17.8 8" rear drum slave cylinders..
