Wilwood midilite - fitting
hi guys, do you just use nuts and bolts to fit the adaptor block to the sierra uprights?
also where do the four little ali spacers go?

Hi Carl,
Bens picture shows it quite well. The only difference is that when I fitted mine, the bolts are fitted with the head on the inside and the nut on the
outside. The spacers are fitted between the caliper and the mounting block.
Once they are fitted, ensure that the disk is central to the caliper.
I purchased mine from Rally Design and did not fit them for a long time. I had a pair of mounting brackets that were incorrectly manufactured - RD
were aware of the problem and replaced them the next day. So if you have had them for a while double check them.

thats cool thanks guys, could somone mesure the bolts they used to fit the block to the uprights as i dont have any.
are you using a hex head for that or just a plain bolt?

Hi Carl,
I used the socket head bolts supplied by RD that came with the kit.
Difficult to measure as they are installed and not accessable. 
You could try giving RD a call - bolt strength is also important.

Easy enough for you to measure what length you need. Another vote for socket head. 8.8 or greater. M10 I believe.

by socket head are you meaning alan key type or normal hex head
have some M10 A2 stainless bolts do you thing they will do?

A4 has the same tensile strength as 8.8, but slightly less yield strength. Personally I would stick to 8.8 for safety.

Like that, they fit into the wilwood mount.
Not sure about the A2's they arent as strong as 8.8's

Len et al,
I am just in the process of rebuilding my 2006 fisher fury and am contemplating a brake upgrade and changing the current wheelsize for 13"
compomotives and have a couple of questions.
I am running stock Sierra hubs and discs at present on the front and want to change them for Wilwoods:
What size wheels & Tyres are you running on the front and rear?
What size discs did you opt for on the front, 285mm?
Did you install Wilwoods on the rear as well?
Would greatly appreciate any information and assistance.
