Brake hose Q's and M/C hose routing Q's
evening all, I've 'half' fitted my brake lines however i'm not happy with how 'neat' they look. I'm using
riveted on cable tie bases and cable ties to hold them in place, i'm happy with this but i'm not happy with how they come out of the brake
m/c. does anyone have any pics of theirs they can put up for inspiration? will the unsupported length be ok with the IVA types before it goes into
the cable tie bases?

should be alright, think its 30cm/12" beteween securing points, so the distance between the MC and the first tiee wrap base looks less than
that, should be fine

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Not sure about tie wraps and brake pipes, might let the pipes move about???
You need to make sure they are positively fitted to the frame, looks like you might have self adhesive ones above the MC, make sure you have a rivet
to attach them to the chassis for IVA.
< 30cm between mounts from what I remember..

Well spotted its under the 30cm rule there so they're only to try and make it look pretty!
The other bases are riveted on, the pipes do not move at all in the bases when the cable is tight. I know of a good number of cars that have passed
with them. If they're good enough to hold terrorists hands behind their back they should do this little job!
