Bike tyres?
I'm after some new tyres for my new bike Currently it has Dunlop race intermediates on it that don't seem to be available anymore.
Anyone know which Dunlops would be the stickiest to get these days?

Coozer, sorry mate, totally went out of my head about the tyres until i read this post.
i think your bike has KR364 intermediate race tyres on at the mo, ??? not sure of the size but that tyre is still available,
sorry can,t do a linky but this company is very good, supply everything a race bike needs.

tho those tyres are not cheap btw. approx £150 each,
i used to race on them & they are my favourite tyre, very sticky but they let you know when they are about to lose traction 
then the team i rode for got a bridgestone sponsor  i preferred the KR,s.

I buy Part-Worn Metzeler Racetec's from a local guy for £40 a pair and they last me ages!
They charge £60 if they fit them on the bike for me, and £50 if they fit them to loose wheels for me.
Actually that seems too cheap. I think the prices are £60, £70 and £80 as above...
(It's been a while that I last got some!!!)

ETA, the Racetecs are the best tyre I've ridden on Road and Track!

We are talking about a track bike aren't we?
I used to use the Pirelli SC range - very good grip and a nice progressive profile. Used to get mine from Racing Lines in Derby for £220 a set, but
I'm sure you have a specialist near you who can give you very good advice.
Finally back on the job!

Yep, its a race bike that I'm putting on the road, motor bike not pedal
Front tyre is perished and won't hold any air. Its a 3.10 x 4.80 KR106 which I believe should be a slick...while the back is a D364 but both
have the same tread pattern.
Both are Dunlops.
Heres a picture, sorry but its very tight in the garage atm
I want some super sticky track tyres (for the road) that its worn all its life!

See the rear tyre? front is the same despite being listed as a slick....

ps. sorry if this is teaching grandma to suck eggs....
when you fit new tyres, take it easy until the tyre is scrubbed in nicely as they come with a coating that is super slippery
