Fuel tank Rubber Strips
The book sugests to use rubber strip to insulate the fuel tank from the chassis. is this what others have used ? If so where did they get it ? or are
there other alternatives. Would a closed cell polyethylene material do ?
Any thoughts or comments greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you mean the stuff to go under the straps and between the mountings as per pikki then I can let you have some. Its 2" x .25" self
adhesive rubber tape.I only needed a couple of mtrs but had to buy a 25mtr roll.

Thanks for the offer Jonti but by luck I've managed to "find " some at work.

I was going to use an innertube from a pedalbike but I bought some 25mm closed cell foam adhesive strip from one of the shows and used that
instead.
I did look for a photo but it really doesn't show over the edges enough.
