Hi,
Has anyone come up with a way of supporting the steering short-shaft?
My uj's and short-shaft came from Rally Design.
I'm thinking either a pair of nylon blocks clamped together with the shaft in between or some sort of bearing?
All ideas appreciated.
Cheers
Martin
what diameter is the shaft? and could you take it apart to slide a bearing over the end?
what about a huge rose joint (cheap one from billy mcGill on ebay) as used on legends racing cars?
how about something like......
Description
Hi
Are you sure it requires supporting?
Regards Mick
depends what you're trying to do.
I have an extra uj in my steering rack, therefore it needs support. Thought about it for a while (perhaps a year or two) and bought a roll bar clamp
the right size. They're designed to have something twist inside them and clamp together so would fit easily. Job done.
Thanks for all the replies!
