hi guys, is it possible someone could post some pictures or a description of how to layout the handbrake cable on a MK2 Escort axle.
Im not sure where to locate the thing..
cheers
I have twin cables (ditch the old escort bar arrangement). They cross over before passing over the top of the diff. They then run in a wide arc around to brackets just inboard of the shock mounts. Clear as mud right?
Like this?

(1) You can roate and re-drill the back plates for more clearance
(2) Ditch the Escort cable & bar arrangement even on the Escort it didn't work properly. Either use twin cables or the complete cable from a
Morris Ital (nb Ital not Marina)
i see, can i get a pic of how it looks at the handbrake lever, and on the hubs?
great help lads, thanks
