Is this set up ok? (There should be a photo!)
By my reckoning there should be less unwanted movement than an east-west set up, but has anone else tried it?

Live escort rear axle with the shock absorbers rotated 90 degrees from the book design so that the bolts go through front to back instead of side to side.

your photo didnt work because, looking at it, you copied the url from the address bar at the top. Instead, right click the picture, select properties, and use this url. You were trying to display the entire page as an image.

Your shocks look fine, though a close up would help.

The GTS car has the shock bushes in north-south alignment, and FWIW I think it's a better way of doing things to minimise stress on the metalastic bushes.

However, there are lots of live axled cars with the bushes mounted the other way, so clearly it's not overly critical.

Looking at it, if the outside wheel goes up with respect to the nearside (for example) the bottom end of the shock would move slightly inwards so N-S bolts would be good.

Can you not get the dampers more vertical? As it is when the car rolls the dampers will become more angled and so you'll get a falling spring rate the more the car leans, which isn't ideal.

Its not a catastrophic problem, but IMHO its worth rectifying if you can.
