hi all
after welding on the coil over pick ups on the axle and installing the componants the diff seems to be sitting rather low in the chassis.
has any one got pics of the car on the deck with the diff flange in view
many thanks:
Does that help?
Bare rolling chassis, good view of the Ford Escort live axle.
Not much load on the suspension though
The way I did it was to decide on ride height and wheel size then choose shock size and locate the brackets to suit the axle location at the chosen
ride height so that the shock had 2/3 travel for compresion and 1/3 travel for extension.
Needless to say the bracket locations looked nothing like the "book" ones which would have limited axle travel and meant the need for much
stronger springs than warranted by the hz required by theory.
