Brake M/c

Have plumbed in an Escort M/c which has 3 valves .........1 to the back and two for front. This will now need replacing and it is discontinued. I was thinking of an old model Sierra bought new as being the least problem to plumb in.

I have also seen some new old stockToyota stuff with two valves. Is this acceptable for SVA?

Sorry to jack this post (Was just about to put a post up and found this thread)

I'm tryna ID what my Cylinder is/would have been originally off (didn't build the car)

The part number on the side is 64676774, which is different to the one on ebay, but I'd say looking at the picture its the same unit.

Reason I'm tryna identify it is I'd like to see if there's any way of fitting a remote reservoir.

The middle (top view) picture below, shows its a little close to the steering.

When on the anchors, parking up, the slight flex in the bulkhead means that I can feel the steering catch the reservoir and I think I'm getting a leak on the seal.

Any help appreciated

TBH mate, I'm in the same boat as you, looking for a 3 outlet M/C.

Ours is farked, and since I've re-sealed it, it's worse No-one recognises it, so I've come to the conclusion it must be pretty rare (it's from such a rarity as a 1.3l 1978 Ford Escort).

I've bought a new M/C from ebay, but it's not the right one, I'm thinking of using a 2 outlet one and connecting a "T" piece.
Can anyone see any problem with that ?

Wanna buy a master cylinder that looks like a standard Escort M/C but turns out to be totally the wrong type ? Cheap....
