Can anyone tell me whereabouts the sierra rear disc caliber is mounted- is it rear or front. The granada's is above the disc that i do know

Of course it doesn't have to go on top..
The mounting for the hub is square so you can choose any position you want, subject to being able to get the hand brake cable out.

You may get an air lock when bleeding the caliper if moved to a different possition,mine are to the rear of the hub and i had to remove the caliper to bleed properly.

TVR use the sierra caliper on the rear of the upright....
Don't have to take them off the car o bleed them...

Tried up both ways and still had the same effect(air pocket)so very spongy on the pedal.
Easy enough to bleed though as i just unbolted caliper and roled it round the disk to 12 o-clock and bled.

Mine are as yours, ish, i haven't bled them yet, TVR chimera,griff are the same and i have never had any problems bleeding them??
Couldnt get any definate pressure pad to disc at 1st when i bled them in this position,but as soon as i rolled them around the disc all works fine.
Thought it was me at 1st but someone else had the same prob and advised me to bleed caliper off the mounting point.
Anyhow all is well now.:
Next time i talk to the factory (TVR) i will have to ask if they do any mods to the calipers to overcome this...

I assume the reason u all have moved the caliber from the top position is to avoid it interfering with the upper wishbone- am i right?

not so much avoiding the top wishbone,its the hub carrier thats the problem. And also the handbrake cable travel/route,there are more pics on my archive of the hub and hub carrier.

Your 'rear hubs' pic explains things very well to me- I assume you have moved the hub 90 degrees to allow the caliper to be mounted
rearwards (from being on top).
Have you had any clearance problems with the handbrake cable and the driveshaft itself?

MK designed it this way and it seems to work fine,the handbake cable of which i thought was going to be a prob turned out ok and i'm happy with
the route and travel of the cable.
You may well find that others have routed there cable different to mine though,i'm sure there are some pics in the archive of other MK and Luego
rear set ups with discs.
I looked at a few variations and sort of made mine go in an S shape towards the rear panel then back to the fuel tank and finally into the tunnel.
