Hi all,

after my lack of sucess in finding some new bigger alloys due to the small ofset my car has, I've gone to plan B trying to find some half decent tyres for my existing alloys the profils is 185/70/13


or can someone recomend a decent alloy source for 19mm ofset?

Depends very much on what you want to do.

Yokohama A021-R is available in that size if it suits.

If you can accept 60 profile the range opens up considerably.

Yokohama A048 or Toyo 888 would then be better than half decent.

For performance better acceleration, worse top speed, but nothing spectacular compared to the better grip the compound gives for a light car.

You'd also need to recalibrate your speedo.

Taste is such a personal thing I'd suggest you find some pictures to see if they are ok for you.
Overall diameter would go from 23.2" down to 21.7" i.e. 1.5"

Mine are 60 profile. don't think they look lost in the arches, although rears are 205's. Fronts are 185's so should give some idea.

185/60 YOKO's on mine, they grip like no other, cheap relatively and ideally suited to a little kent engine !

Top end depends on you diff of course, my mate has a live axle Westfield and that tops out at 7000rpm at 110.

Ive got Yoko 032R's on mine in 185 60 13 and I can thoroughly reccommend them although alot of people say that the 48's or R888's are much better

Just need to wear mine out before i get a set of R888's (which wont be long)
