Finally finished the pedals. Well pleased with them - had them waterjet cut from Aluminium - interestingly enough it was cheaper than cutting
from steel.
It looks like I'll have room for a footrest as well
Now to make the fitting brackets for them

what alloy are they made from? you TIG them yourself?
you can have a go at the DIY anodising to make them even more flashy
Yup- I looked into DIY anodising a while back. Pretty simple really. Helps to get the dyes hot, you need to have a pot big enough to hold the
workpiece without it touching the sides. Of course I wanted to anodise the parts black which is one of the hardest colours to pull off (you tend to
get a grey colour unless you use horendously expensive (but strong) dyes)....
I went and bought all the bits then never did it....
