hi all has anybody got a diagram of the spring set up in the rear axle as i am ready to reassemble but got no idea where they all go i didnt strip it so i couldnt take note of where all the spring and things go

Do you mean the suspension springs Or the brake drum pull off springs etc????

I am guess you mean the springs for the brakes; here is the mk2 escort back plate correctly assembled, drivers side. The wheel cylinder is on the top.

I did take a photo prior to taking it all apart to avoid the problem you are facing!!
